Simple Tips For Rockin' Those Easter Baskets

This year as my kiddos have entered more understanding ages, so I’ve vowed to make holidays a bigger deal around here. Decorating more, crafts and food ideas (thanks Pinterest!) I’ve successfully made it through Valentine’s Day and St. Patty’s. Up next? EASTER! And fast, right?

So what’s in our baskets in year? This was kind of tricky for me and I’m definitely guilty of overthinking what to put inside as I’m not a total fan of alllllllll candy baskets and on the flip side don’t want to go to crazy on toys. So after my struggles I thought I'd share some tips.

Here are some simple tips to consider to rock those baskets!

  • Easter candy theme. Not just regular candy they can get anytime. The cute stuff! Candy carrots, bunny money ect.
  • Stick to a budget.
  • Check out Targets $ spot.
  • Think of the things they love.
  • Think spring, sunglasses, sunscreen, pool toys.
  • Puzzles or card games!
  • EVERYTHING should fit in your basket!

Here’s a look into our baskets.
All items were purchased at Target.

Each kiddo has themed candy, art supplies and a few goodies to keep them busy during this strange time. Because of the current pandemic, I ordered all our goodies through the Target App. and chose drive up- pick up! Just a little something to bring some JOY into our day.
