Simple on the go first aid kit

Summer for us means A lot of fun outside in the sun. As summer approaches faster and faster I realized i'm not quite ready, both for the god awful Florida heat + the trips and falls. It seems the more we play outside, whether it be at a park or in our own front yard someone manages to hit the ground. Most of the time resulting in a boo boo (of course). So four plus years into parenthood i've decided to be prepared this summer. So without any further ado here is our must haves for our simple on the go first aid kit...

  • Neosporin
  • Gauze pads
  • Band-Aids
  • Wipes
  • Benadryl
  • Ibuprofen
  • Syringe
  • Buge bite relief

First and foremost you need a first aid container. I've seen people use all sorts of items, a clear container, first aid zip bag, tackle box or even as simple as a zip lock bag. Whatever you see fit to hold your goodies. Unspoken rule, everything needs to be able to fit in the bag or container of choice. This way it is all right there for easy access. We store our kit in the back of my SUV right next to the extra pair of clothes. This way the kit always with us.

(real life my car needs to be vacuumed)

All items for our kit were purchased at our local Target.

  1. Ok so ever since you posted this it's been on my to do list to make one of these!!! Thank you!

I just got around to making a list of stuff to get and thought I'd share in case you wanted to add anything to yours, too! I probably listed way too much stuff and will probably narrow it down lol. But my big list:
A container, wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, Band-Aids, Neosporin, liquid Benadryl, anti itch cream, cold pack, gauze pads, a wrap/medical tape, aloe, Tylenol, syringe, thermometer, chapstick, sunblock, nail clippers, tweezers, qtips and cotton balls, saline spray, eye drops, peroxide .

Like I said...maybe a little much lol. But thanks again for reminding me I need to do this and also to put a spare set of clothes in the car!
